It's no longer news that former Arsenal gaffer Arsene Wenger was in Liberia and received the nation's highest honour from his former player at Monaco; George Weah, who's now the President of Liberia after winning at the polls in January.
Wenger was induction into Liberia's Order of Distinction and given the title of Knight Grand Commander of the Humane Order of African Redemption by his former player who's now the President of the country in Monrovia, the capital of Liberia on Friday.

African division of The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) took to social media to poke fun at the former Arsenal manage when the made a tweet which says
Arsenal's ex-coach Arsene Wenger finally wins a medal, thanks to Liberia's President George Weah
The tweet didn't go down well with a lot of football lovers who think Arsene Wenger is one of the the people who revolutionised football in the world and helped build the foundations of Arsenal football club.
A lot of people called them out and showed the displeasure at the subtle disrespect they should to the French man, who is well respected by football lover all over the world. Even rival fans were among those calling for more respect to the French man.

After so much complaints and threat from people from different angles, stating their displeasure at the way they BBC Africa treated the former Arsenal manager, plus a lot of people saying how much they have lost respect for the broadcasting giants.

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) has finally come out with another tweet to apologies to people and probably Wenger, stating that there was too much attention on their  poor attempt at humour.
