Arsenal Announce Deal For Incredible Young Full-Back

As per the English media sources, Arsenal have already signed a new deal with their defensive starlet Chiori Johnson, who has put pen-to-paper on a new contract to commit talented youngsters to long-term contracts.

Since Arsene Wenger’s time at Arsenal, the French head coach has put a lot of focus into developing young talent and bringing them through to the first team.

Club’s other youngsters, Hector Bellerin and Alex Iwobi are the latest to emerge from the academy to become first-team regulars under Wenger.

And now the club’s official website have confirmed the 18-year-old Chiori Johnson has become the latest player to be handed a long-term deal by the Gunners and may well be one of the next best talents for Wenger to utilise.

The 18-year-old Johnson helped the Gunners Under-18s reach the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup, which was eventually won by Chelsea for the second year in a row. He also represented Arsenal in the Uefa Youth League this season and played for the Under-21s a few times as well.

Given how well he’s advancing and playing for the youth sides at North London club, it can’t be long until Wenger hands him a chance in the first-team, potentially next season in a Capital One Cup game or in the FA Cup, which hands him a few more months to impress for the Under-21s.
